Emma Pascall

Paediatric Cardiology Registrar, Evelina London Children’s Hospital

Emma Pascall is a Paediatric Cardiology Registrar and works at the Evelina London Children’s Hospital. The Department of Paediatric Cardiology at the Evelina have pioneered many interventional techniques including the trans-catheter closure of several cardiac abnormalities, for example the patent ductus arteriosus and atrial septal defect. More recently, the paediatric cardiology team have been recognised in the national news for the fetal department’s work on fetal cardiac MRI scans.

Emma was awarded a BSc in International Health by the University of Bristol and her dissertation was on the subject of Female Genital Mutilation in Sierra Leone. Following this work she organised a photographic exhibition in London: ‘Girls in Sierra Leone: Overcoming Obstacles.’

Emma was awarded her medical degree by the University of Bristol. She is a Member of the Royal College of Paediatrics and Child Health and was a Subspecialty Trainee in Paediatrics before commencing her training in Paediatric Cardiology.

Emma has had a longstanding interest in Paediatric Cardiology. She has published peer reviewed articles on the subject and has spoken at multiple National and International Meetings. Of further note, Emma completed the ‘Shine Night Marathon’ for Cancer Research UK which has both helped the charity and challenged her own cardiovascular health.
