Baby Lifeline’s Training Initiative Shortlisted for HSJ Awards

The “BIRTH 2 Maternity UK Training” initiative that Baby Lifeline has developed has been shortlisted as a nominee in the category of “Improving Outcomes through Learning and Development” at the 2015 Health Service Journal (HSJ) Awards. We are honoured to deliver this training for Baby Lifeline in order to improve safety outcomes for babies throughout the UK.

The initiative, which was developed as a response to The NHS Litigation Authority’s ‘Ten Years of Maternity Claims’ Report, was launched in November 2013 and has since gathered much success; in 2014, 1,600 healthcare professionals were trained in key areas of delivery suite practice. So far in 2015, over 800 healthcare professionals have been successfully trained in even more pertinent and life-saving topics.
